Methods...
...to preserving your sanity when enduring the unyielding, merciless process of teething.
Subject: Angry Brant (even more mad that I would be heartless enough to stick my phone in his face for a picture)
Method 1: OTTER POPS, cut in half and give to subject strapped in high chair. An outdoor adventure is also ideal if you don't live in 107 degree weather in the middle of a dusty, scorpion ridden desert.
Method 2: M&Ms, if you are trying to accomplish something important, like blog lurking, hold the bag and throw them toward subject one at a time. They can find them and eat them happily.
Method 3: A dose of Motrin & Bendadryl then a warm bath waiting for the medicine to work its magic. This also resolves the sticky messes created in previous methods. Beware of extreme splashing.
Method 4: Spoil infant rotten with lotioning, snuggling and giving in to every demand, such as playing with mommy's sunglasses, the happy face is almost enough to make you forget the hours of misery...almost...a few more M&Ms and the misery is history...

ah we barely survived teathing!! coen had a nasty habit of having 4 cutting at once!! sure it makes it all go by faster, but man it's like a suicide mission!!! EEK... frozen baby wash clothes and frozen bananas made it more bareable!!
oh and no i couldn't care less about football!! but i just so happened to marry a man from seattle... and something in the water and/or air makes it so everyone from up there has a slight obsession with the seahawks... so in my (sad) attempt to be a supportive and fun fan/wife, i'm getting excited via awesome snacks and game day related foods... haha
We barely survive teething with our kids, also.
I loved this post! I love your new style of narrative posting - so much fun to read!
